Gaira is a musical project that was born in 2024. Born out of a passion for music, we are a group of Latin American musicians united by the desire to pay tribute to Carlos Vives' masterpiece, 'La Provincia.' Our musical proposal harmoniously blends folk rhythms such as Gaita, Accordion, Vallenato Box, Guacharaca, and congas, with the vibrant energy of Rock and Pop, represented by Drums, Guitar, Bass, and Piano. Through this musical fusion, we aim to bring Australians closer to the rich cultural tradition behind this musical genre, a legacy that weaves together Indigenous, African, and European influences into a unique symphony
